Zotero, a browser extension with a cloud based counterpart, streamlines the process of creating a source list and bibliography with just the click of a button.

Previous our team entered sources manually into a Word Document and later properly formatted them into Chicago Style, which is our style of choice. We often found the process of collatting sources to be more time consuming than writing the article! This was the scenario each time until we switched to Zotero. Zotero is a simple plugin which installs on most popular browsers. Zotero scans the article you are reading and enters the information into a source list. You can create a source list for each project. Once you are ready to create a bibliography or citation page, Zotero automatically formats the sources into multiple popular styles including Chicago, Harvard, and MLA.
